Curing Kids' Cancer Chosen As Charity Partner

Curing Kids' Cancer - home to Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer and Teachers Curing Kids' Cancer - has been chosen as a charity partner for two different national programs.
The Aflac All American High School Baseball Classic- which recognizes the 38 top high school baseball prospects in the United States - has chosen Coaches Curing Kids Cancer be the official beneficiary of the 2006 Aflac All-American selection tour. A donation of $10,000 will be made to Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer to honor the high school coaches of the 2006 Aflac All-Americans.
In addition, Public Broadcasting Atlanta's broadcast of "A Lion in the House," a documentary chronicling the lives of children fighting cancer over a six-year period is being presented in partnership with Curing Kids Cancer. The documentary will be broadcast on PBS. The documentary premieres Wednesday, June 21 and Thursday, June 22, 9-11 PM on PBA 30, Atlanta’s PBS station, with special reports on WABE 90.1 FM and PBA Online.
