country will have more resources to fight cancer thanks to the donations made by your teams to Coaches Curing Kids

a difference
CCKC Co-Founders Clay and Grainne Owen present Dr. John Bergsagel, pediatric
oncologist with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, a check for $72,000. The money will help pay for a Phase
1 clinical trial for pediatric leukemia

Following the success of Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer, we have now launched Teachers Curing Kids'
Cancer.
Honor your favorite teachers by donating to Teachers Curing Kids' Cancer. All Teachers receive a certificate,
and with donations of $75 or more, the teacher receives an original tote bag.

Top Oncologists Join CCKC Medical Advisory Board
Coaches Curing Kids' Cancer welcomes two of the top pediatric oncologists in the United States to
its medical advisory board.
Dr. Lee
Helman, Chief of the Pediatric Oncology Branch and Deputy Director, Center for Cancer
Research at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and Dr. Alan S. Wayne, Clinical Director of the Pediatric Oncology Branch at the National Cancer
Institute will help determine which groundbreaking cancer research your dollars will
support
Dr. Wayne has a special interest in the Curing Kids' Cancer program. He
treated Killian Owen - the inspiration for CCKC. The targeted therapy he used on Killian is now in its second
generation and shows great promise in helping young cancer patients.
